Originally from New Zealand, Jason spent a decade living in Western Australia and British Columbia, Canada. Currently, he is based in Wānaka, Central Otago.

Jason's professional background includes magazine editing + publishing, archaeology, treaty negotiations, indigenous relations, and parks conservation.
